According to the listing: Toyota Rust Free pick up truck with the 2.2L 4 cylinder diesel engine , 5 Speed , Long bed with bed liner coating . Rebuilt engine by a local diesel shop 10,000 miles ago , with new rings , 4 new pistons and pins, new main and rod bearings, new water pump, new overhaul gasket set, new timing belt, new oil pump, new glow plugs and new clutch kit .Truck is due a valve slash adjustment after the brake in period. Also new injection pump and injectors . Rebuilt radiator with new antifreeze . New Rotella 15w40 heavy duty diesel oil and Mobil 1 oil filter as well as new fuel filter, new air filter , new transmission and differential gear oil . Brand new starter , new belts and hoses. Good tires . Interior is in a very decent shape for a truck of this age, a small crack on the dash pad due to the desert sun, seat has a cover , rubber factory carpets are nice as well as the headliner. No power steering . Truck has A/C but the compressor and the 2 lines were lost at the shop during the rebuild ) . No radio . The body , paint and glass are in excellent shape.

The seller is asking $5995 for this truck.

1985 Diesel X-tra cab for sale

Up for bids this week is a 1985 Toyota diesel X-tra cab pickup. It has the non-turbo 2L diesel motor with a 5 speed manual transmission. Ebay does not recognize this vin- not sure why. But if it is correct this is a deluxe model truck, not SR5. Its in good shape for being listed from the rust belt.

Here is a 1981 Diesel Toyota up for sale on Ebay. Claim of 53,000 original miles. No records exist to confirm or disprove. Just out of storage. Could very well have been put away, there are no record for this truck in Carfax or Autocheck. However it is still in poor condition. More of a parts truck than a daily driver. $4500 is way too much to ask, but I have been surprised before how much these old diesels bring.

Here is an original 1982 Toyota diesel pickup found on Ebay. You can’t be missed in this bright yellow oil burner. It will turn heads if not by sight, by sound. Sorry guys- it takes $8100 to buy this one. An offer of 8k was previously rejected. Still nice to look at and the video says it all. Enjoy!

Here is a 1982 Toyota Half ton pickup with a diesel engine for sale on Ebay. The listing states: Only 75, 500 miles on it. Needs paint job. Has mediocre a/c, new spark plugs, toolbox with lock, mp3/cd system with speakers. Only problem is minor leak with clutch fluid. You can just carry brake fluid with you to keep it fine(about ten dollars every month). It’s in great shape for age. Great project car. It’s an antique. Manual. New batteries
